About airnetters

airnetters is a free, community-run lookup for indoor CO2 readings of public places.

People who take airborne-illness precautions, immunocompromised folks, caregivers, long-COVID survivors, and many others, use CO2 as a stand-in for how well a room is sharing fresh air. We built airnetters so anyone can check a place before they visit, and so anyone can contribute what they measure.

The site is open by design. Readings and place data are crowd-sourced and openly available to download. We don't sell anything. We don't run ads.

What this site is not

  • Not a certification. We don't grade businesses.
  • Not medical advice. CO2 is one signal, not a diagnosis.
  • Not for private homes. Only public-access spaces.

Help out

The easiest way to contribute is to share a reading when you visit a place, or suggest a new place if it isn't listed yet.
